Andi Mack is a tv show that premiered on the Disney Channel in 2017. In October 2017, it was announced that the show would have the Disney Channel's first LGBT storyline. (Previously, LGBT characters had appeared only in single episodes.) The coming-of-age series, which stars Peyton Elizabeth Lee as the 13-year-old title character, is the top series of 2017 among girls (median age of viewers is 10) and #1 in its time period among all children ages 6-14.

The show's second season will include a storyline in which one of Andi's best friends, Cyrus (played by Joshua Rush), will develop feelings for another boy and come out to his friends as gay.
