Eddie Redmayne

Eddie Redmayne (born 6 January 1982) is an English actor best known for his roles as Stephen Hawking in The Theory of Everything, Marius Pontmercy in Les Miserables, and Lili Elbe in The Danish Girl. He won an Academy Award for The Theory of Everything in 2015 and was nominated again the next year for The Danish Girl, in which he portrayed one of the first transgender women to undergo sex reassignment surgery.

He is married to Hannah Bagshawe, a public relations executive, and the couple has a daughter.
